Epson XP 440 Firmware Update

 If the Epson XP 440 setup printer's firmware is expired, you can update it using the Epson Software Updater.

On the Windows desktop, click the Start button. Select the Epson Software tab followed by the Epson Software Updater utility.

Select your printer model from the displayed list and mark the Firmware Updater checkbox near the model name. 

After selecting the checkbox, click the Install items(s) button.

If the User Access Control(UAC) prompts you to allow the app, click Yes.

Read and agree to the software license agreement.

On the Epson Firmware Updater screen, click the Start button.

Ensure that the printer is online. Do not plug the power cord out or switch off your printer during the update process.

Click the Finish button after completing the firmware update.

If the Epson Software Updater pops-up a successful update message, click the OK button to close the utility window.

 Using the product control panel Turn on the Epson XP 440 printer and load the original document on the scanner glass. Before performing the scanning on the Epson printer, complete the driver installation for Epson XP 440 setup printer on your computer.
